IB Mid Summer School The summer vacation is the time to consolidate your learning and prepare for the year ahead. For the 18th year Oxford Study Courses will once again hold its US Mid IBDP Summer Courses for students half way through their International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.

We will be back at Harvard University and MIT in Boston in the USA, giving another generation of IB students a unique opportunity to sample a way of life enjoyed by students at these prestigious universities.

Here is what you can expect from the OSC Mid IBDP Summer Courses in Boston, US:

residential course in a beautiful and stimulating university environment.
highly experienced IB teachers from excellent IB schools, many of whom are examiners.
dedicated course team providing exciting and varied activities in the afternoons and evenings.
focused academic programme covering core IB subjects.
each IB subject = 1 week. You can take up to three subjects.
at least 17.5 hours of class time per subject.
customised programme; adjusted to the student's needs - see 'Creating your programme' below.
optional extra classes and Careers Consultation designed to support your IB studies.
1 - 2 hours of reviewed homework every night.
small groups (normally 8 - 10 per group).
afternoon study groups.
reports written for all subject classes and any optional extras taken.
increased confidence, new friends and experience of university life.

Creating your programme

The Mid IBDP Summer Courses have five elements from which you can customise a programme unique to you:

1	Choose your subject/s Use the subject table to select the subjects you want to review and which dates you want to attend. Remember: each IB subject = 1 week. You can take up to three subjects.
2	Choose any Optional extra classes
3	Choose any Optional extra Careers and college advice options
4	Sign-up to any of the organised weekend trips.
5	Sign-up for the University Applications Course.
