International House is one of the prestigious residential colleges of University of Melbourne. It is located just a 10 minute walk from famous Lygon Street in Carlton, known for its shops and café’s. Lygon Street is a favourite haunt of students and academic alike. International House is also only a short tram ride from the centre of Melbourne’s CBD.

Both colleges offer a calm, focused, academic atmosphere with excellent facilities for students to work, either by themselves or in groups, or relax together between classes.

We recommend that you enroll as a residential student, as you will then benefit not only from experiencing College life first hand, but also avoid hours of travel to and from the College. If you do not live far from the College or it is not convenient for you to be resident during your courses, you may enroll as a day students.
