Introduction
We just covered so much. The best thing for me was learning how to find the right university and what I would have to do to get there, something I really had no clue about before.
University Applications Course student
The University Applicatons Course (UAC) has been developed from our years of experience running University Tours and giving careers advice to students on our IB revision courses.
It is open to students about to enter their last but one, or their last year at school. Students doing the OSC Mid-IB course can make this course part of their programme.
In consultation with experienced college careers advisors we have designed the UAC to give students all the knowledge and understanding we know they need.
Applying to US universities is complicated. It is not just a matter of filling out a form and waiting for interviews; you need to know what you are doing and plan an application strategy well in advance. You need to know how US university courses work, what is on offer, and which you should apply for given your own strengths.
College requirements vary; you need to understand the grade requirements, which tests you need to take and when, and what other work you will need to submit. IB and international students need to understand what they have to offer and how they can maximise their opportunities.
