OSC has been running the University Tour in the UK and US for over 12 years. It is open to students about to enter their last but one, or their last year at school. Students doing the OSC Mid-IB or Pre-IB courses can make this part of their programme.
What and where you will study at university are two of the most important and difficult decisions of your life. There are so many questions to be answered.
A college brochure or university website will tell you all about the courses on offer but how do you know if the place itself will suit you?
The answer is to visit a range of universities and discover what type of place and course you prefer.
Here is what you can expect from the UK University Tour:
- private tours of each institution, seminars, and information sessions
- guidance and advice available at all times from experienced careers counsellors accompanying the Tour
- visit a minimum of 12 different universities or colleges
- talk to admission officers and understand the differences in what each university or college offers
- understand what it means to be an IB or international student applying to a UK university
- one to one Personal Careers Consultation
- optional Mock Interview session
- university and college materials
- coach travel for all visits
- a beautiful stimulating university environment
- increased confidence, new friends and experience of university life
