Introduction

In 2012 we are introducing a new 5-day Pre IBDP Summer School in Oxford, UK – a short but intensive programme for students about to begin their International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP) in the following school term.

The 5-day course runs from Sunday 15th July to Friday 20th July 2012, and will be based in St Antony's College, part of Oxford University.

Students will focus specifically on one of their chosen IBDP subjects – see the list of available subjects here.

Our Pre IBDP courses are carefully designed to give students the best possible start in their IBDP studies, prepared using the combined expertise of our Academic Team – all of whom are highly experienced IBDP teachers.

We have been running these courses for 20 years, and we also offer 3 week and 2 week Pre IBDP courses in Oxford, a 3 week Pre IBDP course in Boston, USA and a 2 week Pre IBDP course in Vancouver, Canada.

What to expect from OSC's Pre IBDP Summer School Oxford 1 week:

A focused, 5-day academic programme designed to help students reach the required entry level for their IB Diploma in their chosen subject
At least 17.5 hours of class time with a highly experienced IBDP teacher
1 – 2 hours of reviewed homework each night
Small classes of students – normally 8-10 per group
A range of afternoon options including additional classes, seminars and Sports and Oxford Explorer programmes
A progress report written by your teacher
A dedicated team of Deans to look after all your non-academic needs, and lead exciting and varied activities in the afternoons and evenings
A beautiful and stimulating university environment
Increased confidence, new friends and a taster of university life
